Vice President, Underwriting

Jeremy Rielly is Vice President, Underwriting.

Jeremy is responsible for providing leadership and strategic vision to the underwriting team, to product development initiatives, and our ongoing growth and profitability initiatives. Additionally, Jeremy oversees the continued implementation of our strategic plan, with a focus on the strategic objective to Advance Small Commercial Business and Product.

Prior to joining Farmers, he has acquired an extensive background in claims, underwriting and marketing. He started his insurance career as a Workers’ Compensation claims adjuster with the New York Special Funds Committee in 2006. In 2008, Mr. Rielly started with Liberty Mutual as an Underwriting Trainee and progressed through various underwriting and marketing roles until he became a Commercial Lines Underwriting Manager for the New Jersey office in 2013. During his time as manager, he guided the state to growth and profitability, while working on various countrywide projects that drove efficiencies within the organization.

Jeremy has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from LeMoyne College. He holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Underwriting (AU).
