Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Tom Cornish is Vice President, Chief Financial Officer.

Tom joined Farmers of Salem in 1997 as Accountant I, being promoted to Accountant II in 1999. In 2000, he was promoted to Accounting Supervisor. Tom earned his CPA certification in 2002 and was then promoted to Accounting Manager. He was promoted to Controller in 2011, AVP Finance & Treasurer in 2014, VP Finance & Treasurer in 2018, and to his current position as CFO in 2022. Tom is responsible for the Accounting and Direct Bill departments.

Tom earned his Bachelor of Science de gree in Accounting from Lebanon Valley College. He holds the Associate in Reinsurance (Are) designation and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
